Installing a Garrys Mod Server

I just started it and it seriously fucked up my server. I need to format the drives and reinstall the OS.

Is there a better way then this hldsupdatetool.exe ?

A safer way?

A way which won't fuck the server up?

hldsupdatetool.exe is the only way.

My code for my dedi (dir structure is gmdedicated/server/orangebox/garrysmod, hldsupdatetool and this bat/command need to go in gmdedicated/)

hldsupdatetool -command update -game garrysmod -dir C:\gmdedicated\server

well george if u got enough money 15$ a month for tcadmin, it auto installs servers and lets you manage them as well, it has tons of games i think around 100 or so its very nice
