Nvidia is your best bet. Check by price range.

This, used it to play Crysis on Medium, should work ok, although I just got a new one (Would be more than $100 though D:)

found a 9600GT, with 512mb of DDR3 only 89.99 on newegg. But you may have to shell out a bit more for tax and shipping.

Apparently it comes with Call of Duty World at War for free :/

9600 is not much better than 8600. Better off with 8800

8800 is a beast, look for the GT OC if at all possible.

You don't need a 500w+ Power supply.

I think. I'm not sure what the one in my pc is actually. It's 500 or 600.

Depends on the power supply you have and how much of it you are using. My PC was running like 380 wats with my 9600GT, then I got a 500 wat for free :D

Well it's recommended, minimum would be like 400 but always best to have recommended!

Look at your power supply box inside your computer and it will say the wattage on the box.
