Because I'm upgrading it to the Database, it means all stats will be lost, and before I thought that it saved it to sqlite, which would have allowed me to insert the data into the database. However, for each user, it makes a new text file - e.g;

"Out"
{
"experience"
{
"Lumbering" "0"
"Planting" "50"
"Survival" "0"
"Harvesting" "0"
"Mining" "50"
}
"date" "Saturday 08/15/09"
"skills"
{
"Lumbering" "1"
"Planting" "1"
"Survival" "1"
"Harvesting" "2"
"Mining" "1"
}
"name" "[tec]JooX"
}

So, it can't be saved, however there's a reason it's being moved to the database. And besides, it means if we ever get rid of stranded for some idiotic reason, we still have the stats saved.

It's not something I wanted to do, however for the sake of backing up, and the achivement system, I did it.

Let me give you an idea of how many files there are. This isn't in one file, this is spread across hundreds of files.

So if its being transerred to the database will you have the power to edit levels? or is it saved on the client side?

I know how easy it is, but with over 1000 files, the chances of it fucking up are pretty big. Along side that I've already changed the table structure and seeing as gameplay will be different now anyways, everyone may as well start fresh.

Yeah i think its a good idea to start fresh, and in my opinion its more fun when you are lower levels
